Whew, one week down!!! YAY

Another 18 to go boo hiss!

I wish I could come here and say that things are going great and the kids and I are adjusting well.
Well I could say that but it would be a lie. A big fat one too.

I think the kids are secretly plotting against me and are going to wage a hostile take over any minute now. If this message suddenly stops, please someone come and save me.

Tonight we had a talk and I told it to them straight up...

Your behavior doesn't tell me that you really CARE if you get to watch TV or that you really CARE to play video games.

To that they said "NO NO we do want to play our games and watch TV, WE DO!"

To which I said "Prove it".

I also asked them realistically what they expected me to do when they didn't do what was asked of them. Did they reallllllly think there wouldn't be any consequences? They sat in silence and one by one you could see light bulbs going off above their heads. How long the light will stay on is the question.
