Our trip part three-
OK, so we made it to PA!
Here is the outside of our condo..I forgot to take any of the inside, but trust me, it was nice!
YAY go us!!!!
Really, it was quite a feat because remember-I am directionally challenged. So challenged that sometimes I get lost in my own town! :)
I'm just sayin'...sometimes.
After Tom left to go to his hotel (because he was 2 hours away and he had school on Friday) I literally fell into bed and I was asleep as soon as my pretty little head hit the pillow.
One thing I realized on this trip-being the sole driver is EXHAUSTING!
Mentally and physically.
Usually when Tom and I go on road trips I don't drive. He is ANAL when it comes to driving. He likes to be the one to get our family to our destination and be in control and it could also MAYBE possibly be that ONE time when he let me drive he fell asleep and he gave me explicit instructions on which exit to take. He had faith in me, *sigh* he is so sweet! When he woke up I told him I was confused and wondering why I didn't see ANY signs for Indianapolis and why the hell were we still in Illinois when we certainly should have at least been in Indiana by now. Turns out that exit he said specifically to take, yeah I missed it. That COULD be why he doesn't let me drive when we are together, but I am thinking he just wants me to get my beauty sleep. I am realllly good at naps in the car!
Anyway this was my first experience at driving reallllllllllly long distances and it wore. me. out!
The plan for Friday was CHOCOLATE WORLD and shopping at the outlet mall. Tom would join us later after school.
Chocolate World.
Just the name bring a smile to my face. Go ahead, say it out loud!!
See!!! Fun huh!!!
Basically we took a virtual tour of the Hershey factory. Complete with singing animitronic cows!
NO LIE!!!! Have you ever seen TLC's "John and Kate Plus 8" ? Well, if you watch it she takes the kids to Chocolate world...and it is exactly as you see it on the show!
If you don't here are a few pics...

OK so there isn't a photo of all three of them under the sign because Hannah was being a PILL and refused to be in a picture with Kasey. Mary declined to be in ANY pictures and well you can see us in the reflection of the door . Good enough I say!
See animated cows!
LOOK simulated chocolate!!
Really the tour was a little interesting, Hannah loved it. It was free, so there ya go LOL
At the end they take your picture, I poked the boys in the back and said "NO FUNNY BUSINESS"
Kasey listened, Jake on the other hand decided to be goofy. Oh, do you think it is coincidence that his shirt says "This is what trouble looks like?". Yeah I think not.
Tom didn't get to go with us this day. But on Sunday Hannah insisted he take the tour. Gee I wonder where my kids get their goofiness from?
OK back to Friday....
When we got off the ride we were approached by some official Hershey person wanting to know if Kasey and Hannah wanted to be taste testers for a new candy bar! In the words of Juno "Hells Yeah"!
Jake didn't get to do it because his age group was already filled, but he got a fat bag of Hershey's chocolate anyway!
After wards we drove through downtown Hershey. Did you know that along Chocolate Ave. the street lights are Hershey kisses??
Isn't that the most sweetest thing ever? Pun totally intended LOL
The rest of the day we spent shopping at the outlet mall right across from our condo, and swimming. When Tom got there we headed to dinner and then early to bed. We had a very long day planned the next day. WASHINGTON DC!!!!!!!!!
