The trip...

Was fantastic!

Words cannot adequately describe how awesome this trip was. I plan on sharing all of it with  my readers (all 4 of you {wink}) as time permits.

Just know, it was awesome.

Here are a few highlights...

This is the view of DC from Arlington, behind me is JFK's eternal flame.

Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknowns-brought all of us to tears.

The Gallery where the Declaration of Independance and the Constitution are housed.

This is THE ACTUAL DOCUMENT!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to me and my no flash lovin' camera and lens combo :D

At first, I thought this might be the only photo of the White House I was going to get. We had finite number of hours to make our way around the town so I took this pic just in case we didn't make it there...

Look....we got closer......

I did not use a zoom on this. In fact, this was panned in as far as it would go in order to fit the roof in...WE WERE THAT CLOSE!!!!!!!!! This is an amazing story and I cannot wait to fill you all in!!!!!

This is Tom and I on the White House lawn!! See those people up close near the house...that is how close we were!

The kids and Grandma Mary (Toms Mom). We were soooo happy to have her with us. The kids really ADORE her!!!

This is me and my long-time online friend Suzy! Look Suz you made the blog!!!!! There is another story about how Suzy rescued us but I will save that for another day.  We didn't get to visit for very long, I do wish we had more time, but Suzy I will be back in May!!!!!!!!

That is just a brief recap of our trip. I have soooooo many more stories  and pics to share and I didn't even touch our trip to Chocolate World in PA!!!!!

I am exhausted but I will be back soon!!!

I am so glad you had a good time. Did it help that you went to see National Treasure a couple weeks ago?? I can't wait to see the pictures!!
