worth it.

The hassle of getting 3 kids packed to go to my mom's for 4 days.

The hassle of getting 2 dogs and all their stuff to the dog kennel for 4 days.

Getting myself packed for 4 days plus the extras Tom needed from home.

Finding coverage at work (not really a hassle).

Getting up at 3am-to be out of the house by 4am to be at the airport by 6:30am in STL.

Sitting next to THE smelliest person on my 2 hour flight to Baltimore.

Realizing Tom upgraded me to first class on my way home so that I wouldn't have to be so close to the person next to me.

Sitting at O'hare for 2+ hours because my flight go delayed not once but TWICE.

Getting home withe my 3 exhausted children at 2:30am.

Getting up at  7am this morning to pick up the dogs from the kennel.

It was all worth it.

Every second I spent preparing and traveling.

just to spend 4 days with him.

Tomloribeach

and to spend one of those days at the beach with him.

and then getting the sweetest e-mail from him upon my return.

In 3 weeks we will see him again for just a visit.

Only 6 weeks to go until he is home for good.

yeah!!! I am so happy you had a great time-- ahhh, everyone needs a break every now and then. I am glad you had a wonderful one.

Thanks for the update! So glad that the two of you had some much-needed time together. All of the hassles really are worth it in the end.
