I am cold!!!

I will never take that feeling for granted again I promise!

Why am I so happy about being cold?

Because I just got A/C on Monday!!!

We knew we were going to need a new A/C unit this year. Tom has a friend (A/C guy) who said he could get us a unit at wholesale and he would install it for us.

DEAL!

So he ordered the unit and we paid for it.

You would think it would be that easy right?

Wrong.....

Set back #1.

He discovers he ordered the wrong unit. He reorders and it arrives a week later.

Set back #2

The new coil (the thing that gets cold) was bigger than the old one. So we had to ask Toms other friend (Sheet metal guy) to make a new house for the coil. A/C guy had to get with sheet metal guy to come over to do this. Apparently it took them a week to coordinate their efforts.

Set back #3

A/C guy's mom got sick and he was unable to get over to our house to finish the job.

In the meantime it has decided to get hot.

FINALLY he got us up and running on Monday.

I have never seen anything more beautiful in my whole life than seeing the new unit perched upon its new pad in the back of my house.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh it is good to be cold!
