It's like I am missing an appendage.
A very cute, very funny, breath of fresh air appendage.
One of my kids is missing.
OK technically he isn't missing,he is visiting his Grandma in Columbus for 2.5 weeks.
But ever since we left him behind I have felt that I am missing an arm or something!
I am so used to my posse of three that when I count heads in the store I have a momentary episode of panic thinking I have lost a child!
Now those of you with more than two kids know that sometimes two of the kids don't get along. They each know how to push the others buttons, they know the exact word to say to send the other into a crying fit.
Here is our family breakdown:
Combo of Kasey and Jake - AWESOME
Combo of Jake and Hannah - AWESOME
Combo of Kasey and Hannah - not so much.
Guess which two are left with me?
Yep, the two that don't like one other all that much.
Really, saying they "don't like one another all that much" is really putting it very mildly.
I honestly don't know what I was thinking when I said my most well behaved kid could be gone that long.
YES, I went there.
I said Jake was the most well behaved of my three.
It's true.
He really is.
Once someone thought I only had two kids because in my "My kids are driving me cray, listen to what they did this time" rant his name wasn't mentioned. After that I always mention the great things my kids do also.
The next 2 weeks are going to be rough.
As if dealing with oil and water wasn't enough to put more grey hairs on my head, Kasey started drivers ed. yesterday.
Yeah, go ahead say it...."Lori, your old!"
I think I need to go and buy some alcohol.
No, I am kidding...I can do this.
For just a little while longer I can do this.
I only need to last for 15 more days becuase then, they are Toms problem <insert evil laugh>
yeah, a kid driving does kind of make you old. ;)
however, i know SOMEONE who celebrates her 40th birthday in a few weeks. i think that trumps the kid driving. yikes!
