The question was asked just how many miles has the Dale Family travled to see Tom since March.

Honestly I really don't know the EXACT mileage but I have a guess-timation based on what mapquest said. So here you go, trip by trip mileage:

March - Easter Weekend:
Springfield to Columbus: 796 miles round trip

April 9th-15th
Springfield to Hershey, PA: 1,532 miles round trip.
Hershey to DC: 266 miles round trip.

May 16th-19th
Springfield to Aberdeen: 1,676 miles round trip FLIGHT.

June 13th-15th
Springfield to Columbus: 796 miles round trip

GRAND TOTAL: 5,066 miles
Miles DRIVEN: 3,390 miles.

This doesn't take into account driving around sight seeing this only takes into account how many miles it was to our destination.

It wasn't always easy logistically to get to our destinations but, every effort was 110% worth it.
