Hi! Did you miss me?

I am just going to throw out the answers to the questions we have been asked the most!

Yes, he made it home!
Yes it is wonderful to have him home!
Yes, he is THRILLED to be home!
The kids are so glad he is home!
YES, his dog DID remember him and she was so excited she peed on the kitchen floor!
Yes, we have been busy!

I am sure the whole world felt my *sigh* when he walked through our front door and took me in his now quite buff arms and kissed me full on the lips. *SIGH*

We have been spending quite a lot of family time together and working on projects around our home. (which is another post all together)

We did take a break from our projects to go and watch the Rock the Dock fireworks at the Marina. They were awesome!!! What was equally awesome was our spot for watching them that 1) wasn't cramped, 2) not a whole lot of traffic, and 3) we just happened upon while driving by! It was a toss up between those or the ones downtown and from what I read in the paper we made the right choice!

Normally we go on vacation during the 4th but since we made the trip to DC earlier this year we decided to low-key it this year. I think the kids were disappointed but I assure you, they will get over it!

If you are thinking there will be photo's at the end of this blog, sadly you are wrong. I didn't take ANY pics! NONE NADA ZIP ZERO ZILCH! I went for the camera and Tom said "Babe, take pics with your brain and store them in your memories" So I did :)

But that trend of me keeping the memories in my brain won't last I assure you :0)
