Jake has to be at the bus stop @ 7:25. Much better than you have K :) BUT in our defense Kasey had to be at his bus stop @ 7:10 AND it was 5 blocks away during his 3 year stint!
I read the messages related to my previous post AND I read the e-mails sent as well.
I appreciate all of your opinions on the matter and thank you for your take on it! Yes, I appreciate the ones that didn't agree with me!
Let me clarify.
I said I understood why they wanted them.
I said I understand it isn't the kid's fault if they cannot afford the extra supplies.
I said Jake would show up with the supplies.
I am not against sharing.
At one time the shoe WAS on the other foot. There was a time when I seriously didn't know where the money for supplies was going to come from. At no time did I send my kid to school expecting others to provide for him. We have always done what it takes to provide for our kids. A lot of the times Tom and I did with out things we needed. I could go on and on about the trials and tribulations of getting pregnant at 18, getting married at 19 and Tom and I struggling both financially and emotionally to keep it all together. But that would take a really long time and I am afraid my attention span wouldn't hold out for that long series. Just take my word on it....we STRUGGLED.
That said, it is still annoying that I spend so much money on items not directly related to my child's education and since I an paying for them it is my right to complain about it :D
yeah, but the bigger issue... what time does he have to be outside to catch the bus? :)
we got 7:10am, which is WAY better than the 7:02am I saw for others on the list!

Does anyone see a problem here? My little guy is up EARLY!! He should be catching the bus at 7:10. His younger sister could easily catch a bus that came at, oh, 6:30!
