14 months for me to get new pics of my kids that were not "snapshotty".
Did I just type "snapshotty"? Is that EVEN a word?
Sometimes I do like snapshots because they truly represent our lives (you know, slightly blurry, crazy funny and sometimes in your face) but at this moment I crave good photograph of my kids :)
So, this Sunday was THE DAY. The one when I make them look half-way decent and beg them not to put on fake smiles. Only one meltdown and that was from Jake of all people. Usually it is Hannah because this one piece of hair is always blowing in her face and OH MY GOSH the boys are sitting too close to her. Apparently Jake didn't want to wear THE sweater. I say tough sh!t Sherlock...this is my game and you are gonna play it. OK I didn't ACTUALLY say it like that, but we had some words and he eventually saw that the red hoodie and the shirt that says "Im ur base pwning nubs" he wanted to wear didn't quite go with the vibe I was feeling. Poor Jake, I made it up to him by bringing his beloved aforementioned t-shirt and hoodie to change into when we were done. I didn't want his flesh to burn the whole 5 minutes back to our house after I was done...as he put it..... "torturing him"
So on with the torture!
